Community and family services
Community and Family Services (CFS) is the second most recognizable face of The Salvation Army, next to our thrift stores, in cities and communities across Canada. CFS has served individuals and families facing crisis in our community for decades. Food bank is a program which provides food to aid people based on eligibility and circumstances. A private Meeting is required. Food share is another program of food recovery that helps prevent food waste. Food is received from various commerical businesses which is then shared within the community, Everyone is welcome.Learn more -

Christmas time can be hard for families – struggling to pay for the extra food, gifts and every extra cost associated with this time of year. With the hope to deliver holiday cheer to vulnerable families in our community we provide households with food hampers and gifts for children.Learn more -

For over a 100 years, The Salvation Army thrift stores have been a local response to the need for jobs and affordable merchandise, coupled with the desire to preserve the land for unnecessary waste, allowing for items to be reused and recycled.Learn more
